Lean Six Sigma II
This course is continuation of the Lean Principles of LSS I with an emphasis on Six Sigma
LSS II
This course builds on the Lean principles of LSS I. It goes even more into the details and comprises concurrent data capture and assessment, plus a certain amount of statistics to evaluate and optimize processes.
Learning objectives
in this course you will learn about several Six Sigma topics and how to apply them to your own projects.
How you will achieve this
You will learn about the following:
- DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
- Value stream mapping, SIPOCs, time value maps, process mapping (Flow chart, swim lanes, Spaghetti, SIPOC)
- Data collection, types of data, metadata, input- and output data, stratification
- Sampling, sample size
- Measurement system Analysis (MSA)
- Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility)
- Process Capability
- Control charts and Control limits
- Descriptive statistics and data display
- Hypothesis testing
- Variation analysis
- Causes and Effects
- Special and random cause
- Time traps and capacity constraints
- minimum saf batch sizes
- rapid setup
